Inova-Ria - Associação de Empresas para uma Rede de Inovação em Aveiro (Association of Companies for an Innovation Network in Aveiro) - is a nonprofit association founded in 2003 and located in the Aveiro Region. This association acts as a catalyst for innovation networks in the fields of Information, Communication, and Electronic Technologies.

Inova-Ria fosters collaboration among companies, educational institutions, and research organizations, playing a key role in promoting technological innovation and transferring knowledge to the business community in response to societal needs.

Inova-Ria has extensive and solid experience in creating and managing collaborative projects, both nationally and internationally, primarily involving companies in the field of Information and Communication Technologies and Electronics in close collaboration with Non-Business Entities of the Research and Innovation System (ENESII).

Its participation in European networks and projects, as well as its connections to international clusters in the health sector, strengthens its ability to integrate into global value chains. Among its key international partners in the health and medical device sectors are the BHC—Basque Health Cluster and MEDVIA—The Innovation Cluster for Better Health.

Equally noteworthy is its work providing support and direct involvement in joint projects aimed at obtaining certifications under national and international regulatory standards, some of which are related to healthcare and the production of medical devices.

Its proven experience in facilitating collaborative projects, supporting certification, and bridging the gap between industry and the scientific community positions Inova-Ria as a highly influential entity in the development, validation, and internationalization of solutions in the field of medical devices.
